When the Hong Kong Observatory announces that Tropical Cyclone Signal No. 8 (or above) or Black Rainstorm Warning Signal is issued, the arrangements for the conference will be as follows:

Day 1: 22 September 2011 (Thursday)

Day 2 & 3: 23 – 24 September 2011 (Friday & Saturday)

If the local storm warning signal No.8 or above or the black rainstorm signal is issued after the commencement of the morning or afternoon session, the conference will continue as scheduled until further notice.

Remarks:

1. All keynote addresses, concurrent sessions, round-table discussions, workshops, lunch sessions, round-table session and poster presentations cancelled due to bad weather will not be rescheduled. Speakers’ presentation materials will be posted on the conference website after the conference.
2. No refund of registration fee will be arranged for any conference activities cancelled due to bad weather.
3. Conference dinner fee will be refunded if the dinner is cancelled due to bad weather.
4. Arrangements for conference on approach of typhoons and rainstorms will be announced via the conference website http://www.nur.cuhk.edu.hk/conference2011/. Please visit the conference website regularly to get the updated information.
